Roots Café brings a new concept to Cascais and invites you to enjoy wholesome, delicious food and drinks in a comfortable setting, featuring award winning, stylish furniture, eco-friendly products and healthy lifestyle happenings.
We are 4 partners that found a common passion in their love of good food, healthy lifestyle choices and beautiful stylish surroundings. We want to show you that healthy food can be delicious, and we want to do it in a comfortable, beautiful place where you can read, work, meet friends or simply enjoy food and drinks made with love.
We speak Portuguese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and a few friendly words in some more languages.

We are passionate about good food that nourishes body mind soul and believe in choice. That’s why we prepare our food and drinks mostly with healthy sugar options . Wherever possible we strive to support local business and source local, seasonal products. We offer different dishes accommodating vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, paleo and ketogenic dietary requirements. Andrea, one of our partners, is an experienced nutrition coach; her job is to make sure we can cater to your health and dietary requirements.

02Wonderbags
We are exclusive distributors in Portugal for the Wonderbag, a non-electric, ecological, portable slow cooker and cooler, right from South Africa. For every unit sold, one is donated to a family in need of it in Africa.
